Tex-Mex Macaroni and Cheese Recipe
This is a quick and easy dish that tastes great and makes a nice break from regular macaroni and cheese. If preferred, serve with cooked peas and grated Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients:
- 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
- 2 tablespoons butter, or as needed
- ¼ cup milk, or as needed
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 (7.3 ounce) package white Cheddar macaroni and cheese mix
Directions:
- Brown the steak in a large skillet and drain any extra grease. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed, according to the guidelines on the taco seasoning packet. Remove from the equation.
- Prepare macaroni and cheese as directed on the package, using butter or margarine and milk as needed. Combine the steak, macaroni, and cheese in a mixing bowl. Combine all ingredients and serve.
