A bourbon-flavored pie filling prepared with almonds and chocolate. Serve with ice cream while it's still warm.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 prepared 8 inch pie crust
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon
  • ¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C.) In the bottom of the pie crust, spread chocolate chips and nuts.
  2. Cream butter or margarine and sugar together in a mixing basin. Toss in the flour. Slightly beat the eggs and fold them into the creamed mixture. Pour in the bourbon and mix well. Fill the pie shell with the filling (over chips and nuts).
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30–40 minutes.
