Pork Chop Casserole I Recipe

This is a delectable one-dish supper. It's filling, filling, and quite simple to make.

Pork Chop Casserole I

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups instant rice
  • 2 (1 ounce) packages dry onion soup mix
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
  • 6 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops
  • 3 cups water

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix dried onion soup mix and water in a medium mixing basin until completely dissolved. Fill a 10x15 baking dish halfway with the ingredients. Mix in the rice and mushrooms until evenly distributed. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place the pork chops in a single layer on top of the mixture. Push the pork chops into the mixture and make sure they are completely covered.
  3. Cover baking dish securely with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour at 350°F.
