Vegetarian's Delight Pizza Recipe

Based on the possibilities offered by numerous pizza businesses, here's my version of a quick vegetable pizza. Depending on your preferences, you can vary the quantities and veggies used.

Vegetarian's Delight Pizza

Servings Per Recipe: 2 Calories: 1153.7

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup sliced onion
  • 1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
  • ¼ cup chopped black olives
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 (12 inch) pre-baked pizza crust
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup seasoned tomato sauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) (175 degrees C).
  2. On a large cookie tray or pizza pan, place the pizza crust. Using a pastry brush, evenly coat the crust with olive oil. Using a spatula or the back of a spoon, spread tomato sauce over it. Vegetables should be uniformly distributed over the sauce, and cheese should be sprinkled on top.
  3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened. Allow 2 to 3 minutes for cooling before cutting.
